Saint Paul School of Theology Email Log On

When you click on "Log Into OWA Now." You will see the following screen:

In the Username box, type your Saint Paul username followed immediately by "@spst.edu".

In the Password box, type in your Saint Paul password.

Select the client interface you want to use. The premium client provides all Outlook Web Access features but requires more bandwidth and is not recommended for dial-up access through a modem. The basic client provides fewer features than the premium client but offers faster performance. Use the basic client if you're on a slow connection or a dial-up modem.

Select the "Security" you want to use and then click the "Log On" button.

Please Note: The "Security" setting is very important. If you are using a public computer (such as in a library) or if you are not the only person who has access to the computer, please be sure to use the "Public or shared computer" security setting. This setting will close (time out) your OWA session much sooner then if you choose the "Private computer" setting. The "Public or shared computer" setting is designed to protect you from other persons being able to access your account if your forget to logout of OWA when you are done or if you stepped away from the computer. Typically the "Public or shared computer" setting will end your session after 10 to 15 minutes of inactivity on your account. Please be aware that if you are writing a long email you will need to save it every eight minutes or so to let the Exchange Server know you are still there so it won't time-out on you.
